Summer Vision Board

Written by:

I have learned a lesson from my previous vision board. One I find it hard to come up with enough items to fill the template. The second issue for me was that while I believed the broad categories would make success achievable, because there’s so much that would meet the definition, I would actually wind up ignoring much of the board because it was visually cluttered and nonurgent in my brain. Hence, the drastically different style of the new template.

I have narrowed my focus to a handful of really important goals. For summer, as much as I hate the heat the long days are a blessing for my adventure/travel goals. So the pictures included in this category are hiking, stargazing, kayaking, whale watching, and visiting Montreal. I also want to continue to engage in volunteer work as demonstrated by two pictures, one of a volunteer at a food pantry and another of a forest, since I am increasing my engagements with the Sierra Club Forest Protection Team and as an Outings Leader.

Of course, my hobbies like reading and knitting still feature. As does keeping up my mental health with work-life balance, building my savings, and journaling. The last photo to mention is a cake. Yes, I do enjoy baking, but this is in here because my birthday is next month! I already have a shared pre-birthday celebration planned with my family. We will be celebrating two graduations (8th grade and high school) and two birthdays (mine and my brothers).
