This quote which I found on tumblr is one I think about frequently. I’ve recently started dating someone whose weirdness meshes well with mine. Recently we met up for dinner, but decided to continue the evening with an impromptu arcade date. On the drive over he had mentioned wanting to have a future date of wandering around Ikea and playing hide and seek. I cannot express how excited that idea made me. I love embracing the whimsy of life and having someone whose idea of playfulness matches mine is pretty much a dream come true. He makes me laugh without reserve and I get giddy talking to him. He puts so much thought and effort into being together, even if we are staying in to watch a movie. This budding relationship is the new adventure of this stage of my life and I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
