Fall Vision Board Update

Apologies for how delayed this post is, I completely lost track of time and the winter solstice was here before I even realized it. I’ve talked a bit about my reading habits recently, so it’s no surprised that I eel like I’m doing really well in that area. I also feel like my weight loss and finance journeys have been going pretty well. Both can be described as slow and steady wins the race but I’m holding onto small victories which are keeping me motivated. I’ve done a steady amount of movie nights with my boyfriend mostly introducing each other to Star Wars and Harry Potter. I found movies are so much more interesting when I have someone to talk about them with in the moment. I did enjoy the fall foliage while it lasted but realize that making such a temporary phenomenon a priority in my vision board was short sighted. Writing and journaling have both taken a bit of a back seat. I recognize that this de-prioritization of my reflective outlets is not good for me. I really need to re-establish a routine that encourages self-care.

I don’t know how I’m going to appraoch goals in the new year. I know I will presonally need a mix of short and long term, so I’m leaning towards yearly goals that can be broken down into monthly chunks. I also feel like having lists that I can check off could be more encouraging for consistency than the visual boards. Right now I know I want to have goals regarding reading, writing, finances, and hobbies (baking has been the recent focus but I do want to re-engage with my knitting). I would love some recommendations if you have specific goals we could work on together or anything you’ve heard that sounds fun.
